In Prevention and control of NCDs we detect and mitigate the burden of NCDs as well as their management in the community of Rwanda.
URPHSA to together with HPO initiated Ishema Ryanjye Project which is under the program of Adolescents Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. Its aim is to address problems of teenage pregnancy and sexual transmitted diseases through comprehensive sexuality education and behavior change communication.
URPHSA to together with HPO initiated KUZA NEZA Project which is under the program of nutrition program. to protect maternal and child health in the community and strengthening school feeding program through nutrition sensitive and specific interventions to tackle malnutrition issues.
Our program seeks to provide fair, long-term, and cost-effective access to water and sanitation facilities and environmental safety to Rwandan communities.
UR-PHSA also conduct community interventions with the aim of coming up with
innovative solutions that will tackle the public health challenges they encounter in the
respective communities and thus contribute to the accomplishment of certain SDGs in
Rwanda by 2030.
