SRHR program addresses issues related to comprehensive sexuality education by increasing awareness on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), promoting access to accurate information to the community specifically adolescents related to SRHR, family planning (FP), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Gender Promotion (GP) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV.
Our aim is to crack fears of adolescents as well as children and their parents to openly discuss SRHR, GBV and GP through playing Ishema Ryanjye cards game and other SRHR games.
- Conduct community outreaches, workshops and campaigns to increase awareness on SRHR
- Train and capacitate different CSOs and YLOs effective approaches to teach youths sexual reproductive health using SRHR games including Ishema Ryanjye Cards game
Non-Communicable Diseases Program coordinates prevention, early detection, diagnosis and rehabilitation interventions to prevent and mitigate NCDs burden in community.
The program aims to protect Rwandans from morbidity and mortality related to Non-Communicable Diseases through integrated prevention and management approaches.Health Promotion Organization NCDs Program works in close collaboration with different government and non-government organizations, institutions and other partners to detect and mitigate the burden of NCDs as well as their management in the community of Rwanda.
The program tackles the following diseases and conditions:
- Hypertension
- Overweight and Obesity
- Type 2 Diabete
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and Cancer

The double burden of malnutrition requires a comprehensive approach to act on it, and that is why nutrition program works in close collaboration with different partners to contribute to reduction of all forms of malnutrition.
In this program, we use different approaches to protect maternal and child health in the community and strengthening school feeding program through nutrition sensitive and specific interventions to tackle malnutrition issues.What we do
- Increasing community awareness on healthy nutrition through nutrition education on balanced diet.
- Teaching communities to wisely choose healthy and nutritious foods while shopping food for cooking.
Maintaining and enhancing human health requires assessing, correcting, controlling, and preventing individuals from physical, chemical, and biological risks/hazards through the provision of access to clean water, decent toilets, proper hygiene practices and environmental safety.
Our program seeks to provide fair, long-term, and cost-effective access to water and sanitation facilities and environmental safety to Rwandan communities.
